Protecting your debit card is a priority.

Bank Mutual is monitoring for fraud 24 hours a day, 7 days week. If we detect potentially suspicious transactions on your card our Fraud Detection Center will contact you between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm to confirm transactions with you. We will leave a message if you are unavailable. If we are unable to reach you by phone we will try to reach you by email. It is important to let us know if the activity on the card is authorized so we can ensure your card is in working order.

If you know you will be making a larger than usual purchase or will be traveling please contact our Customer Care Center ahead of time at 1-800-261-6888 option 2, so we can note your card accordingly.

Don't be fooled into giving your debit card and PIN to someone who says they will share the profits with you after they deposit bad checks into your account.  You will be responsible for any loss on your account and could be found to be a willing accomplice to a crime!

Keep your finances protected with these painless tips:

  • Never write your PIN on your card.

  • Promptly reconcile your statement and report any unauthorized charges.

  • We will never ask for your PIN - If you receive such an inquiry, contact Bank Mutual Customer Care at (800) 261-6888.

  • Report a lost or stolen debit card after hours to (800) 554-8969.

  • Report a lost or stolen credit card to Card Member Service at (800) 558-3424.
