Steve Arntzen

Steve Arntzen serves as Vice President of Commercial Banking for Bank Mutual. In his current position, Steve works with his customers to determine their financial and business needs and provides innovative solutions that improve their productivity, performance, and profitability.

Steve has 40 years of experience in banking. His areas of expertise include commercial lending, financial planning, deposit solutions, and treasury management.

Prior to Bank Mutual, Steve was a vice president of business banking at BMO Harris Bank. Before BMO, Steve held various positions in banking, including loan production management at S&C Bank in Menomonie, WI; serving as vice president at Baraboo Federal Bank and First Interstate Bank.

Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. He also attended the Graduate School of Commercial Lending in Norman, OK, and Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI.

Aside from work, Steve enjoys skiing, swimming, biking, and photography. He serves as Assistant Patrol Director at Afton Alps Ski Patrol; was a past president of Menomonie Rotary Club; a board member for Regional Loan Fund, and a board member of Junior Achievement.

Steve has been married to his wife Cindy for over 30 years, and they have two daughters, Katie and Julie.
